First and foremost, I pray that this email finds you and your families in good health. Secondly, I want to extend my sincere thank you to everyone who was in attendance at TJM & Co.’s 5th-anniversary celebration. What a privilege we’ve had to work with such amazing clients and partners. If you were unable to join us, for whatever reason, know that you are appreciated.
In light of the developments around COVID-19, I thought it would be good to share some steps we have taken within our organization to ensure business continuity that our clients and partners can depend on. Although it may seem as if the world is coming to a halt, we know that neither our business or yours can just shut down. Yet, we need to be careful and prepared.
At TJM & Co., we value your trust and are committed to doing what is within our capacity to ensure that our services remain consistent. Thus, we have initiated a formal business continuity plan. Hopefully, this will assist you in planning for your organization as well.
Items addressed in our plan include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all employees have access to high-speed Internet access from home
- Programming our office number to ring on our mobile devices and laptops so that clients can reach us
- Confirming our employees have access to business or pre-approved personal laptops confirmed to meet or exceed their needs
- Confirming that our employees have [remote] access to all of the tools we use to support our clients daily
- Sharing updates and relative information in a timely manner
- Staying abreast on the current circumstances, evaluating the impact on our clients, and responding when appropriate and necessary
*Unfortunately some lack integrity and use fear as a tool for personal gain. We urge you to be mindful of the increase in scams and phishing campaigns. Be extra cautious about clicking on links to alerts, articles, etc.
Please note that risk mitigation is the only motivation for instituting these measures. Protecting the health of TJM & Co. employees and their families while still serving our clients is a top priority. At TJM & Co. we live and work by faith and make decisions with wisdom, not fear. We encourage you to do the same.
